We’re open Monday to Friday, 9am–4:30pm. Our last grooming appointment starts at 3pm. Selected Saturdays are reserved for salon cat grooming—our “Caturdays”. We’re closed on Sundays. 

Every dog is different, but most breeds benefit from professional grooming every 6–8 weeks. Long-haired breeds such as Cockapoos, Cavapoos, Cocker Spaniels and Shih Tzus often need more frequent grooming to prevent painful matting and keep their coats healthy. During your appointment, we'll recommend the ideal schedule for your dog's breed and lifestyle.

Most appointments take between 1 and 2 hours, depending on your dog’s breed, size, coat condition and temperament. Grooming is carried out on a one-to-one basis, with the appointment time reserved for your dog. 

A full groom typically includes:

• Health and coat assessment 
• Two baths using premium, natural Faith in Nature shampoo 
• Blow dry 
• Brush and de-shed 
• Full clip or hand scissor finish 
• Nail trimming 
• Ear cleaning 
• Hygiene areas 
• Finishing spray and cologne

Yes. Many dogs that visit Harvey's are nervous, elderly or visiting a groomer for the first time.

We take our time, work patiently and always put your dog's welfare first. If your dog needs extra reassurance or regular breaks, we're happy to accommodate them.

Yes. Our University of Harvey’s Puppy Grooming Package introduces puppies to grooming through four gentle visits. We take a patient, one-to-one approach and adapt each appointment to your puppy’s confidence, coat and comfort.

Before booking, tell us your puppy’s age, breed and vaccination status so we can confirm our admission requirements. If you’re unsure when your puppy can safely visit the salon, ask your vet for advice.

Yes.

We are fully qualified in professional cat grooming and offer grooming for both long-haired and short-haired breeds, including de-shedding, hygiene trims, lion clips and mat removal where appropriate.

We also provide mobile cat grooming in selected areas.

Yes. We offer gentle Emmi-Pet ultrasonic teeth cleaning as an oral-hygiene service for suitable dogs. 

We begin with a trial to assess their comfort with the process. This service does not replace veterinary dental examinations or treatment.

Most dogs settle better without their owners present. We'll contact you as soon as your dog is ready for collection.
